Balloons and the Environment
Colour Me Body And Balloon Art
Colour Me Body And Balloon Art uses quality latex balloons sourced from reputable distributors. Latex balloons are NOT plastic, they are a plant-based product made from natural rubber. Natural latex comes from Rubber Tree Plantations which are a renewable source.
Mylar/Foil balloons are made with a plastic/nylon, synthetic material that is recyclable but it DOES NOT BIODEGRADE. Foils can be deflated and reused or placed in your household recycle bin with other types of similar materials – such as aluminium trays.
Deliberate or accidental release of helium filled balloons is NOT supported. Along with plastic bags and bottles, the release of balloons can end up in our waterways, oceans and parklands, causing significant damage to our environment and harming wildlife in many ways.
Colour Me Body And Balloon Art offers AIR FILLED options only, that should be disposed of responsibly into a BIN.
